The CBA Wales/Cymru Group will be running a field day on the Hillforts of the Clwydian Range. The day will include visits to Penycloddiau, Moel Arthur and Moel Fenlli, together with the site of the excavation by the Clwydian Range Archaeology Group below Moel Arthur. The field trip will be led by Fiona Gale and Ian Brooks.

The intended programme is:
- 10:00 meet at The Penycloddiau carpark (SJ 139 668 What Three Words///inquest.impose.tissue)
- Visit Penycloddiau (with view of Moel y Gaer Bodfari) then on to Moel Arthur, passing the site of the excavation by the Clwydian Range Archaeology Group of a Bronze Age settlement
- Lunch (Bring your own picnic)
- Drive to carpark below Moel Fenlli (SJ 163 605, What Three Words///warmers.giraffes.direct) (4 hours: £2.50). A drive of approximately 9 miles.
- Visit Moel Fenlli with possibility to walk to a point where Moel y Gaer Llanbedr can be seen.
- Disperse.
The walk will be moderately vigorous with some steep slopes. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear.
